Family Outing 27 March 2009
Finally i applied for leave. It's time for some FAMILY OUTING! :) hoots..
i was like super excited:) like a small kid awaiting for her parents to bring her out for excursions. it has been a long long time ever since i had that kind of feeling. that feeling of simplicity and happiness. i miss all that.
Here's what we did:
1. I woke up at 7.30am to repark my car and to add in coupons. i was so dumb. haha. i don't know how to use a coupon! i had to call a lot of people but it was too early. eventually it was Louise who saved my life! lol
2. Went home and bath. Set off at 9am. First destination: Market for breakfast.
3. Then, to ah ma's house.
4. Drove ah ma and papa to Dua Pek Gong's temple.
5. Drove ah ma back and set off to Jurong Birdpark.
6. Bought the tram rides tickets. But Papa was too tired to walk still. Decided to go to somewhere less tiring. How about prawning? lol.
7. Reached Taman Jurong Prawning Pond after a few rounds of getting lost. haha. but my dad was happy because he loves to see sceneries! but mum was feeling so sleepy behind . she almost fell asleep.
8. I paid for 2 rods only to realise that there were NO prawns. haha. my parents were so impatient. lol. they don't wanna prawn anymore. actually me too. cuz it was so hot.
9. Left the prawning area and reached the nursery just beside. my parents were like small kids at the playgrounds. they were super happy can! as for me, i was yawning all the way la! they bought flowers:)
10. Drove to Thian Hock Keng. My parents went praying while i had to stay back to look after the car since it was really hard to get a parking there.
11. Singapore Flyer was up next! they super enjoyed it. me too. but just that, i had some thoughts going through my mind.
12. Ended the outing with dinner at East Coast Park Food Center. i super love the BBQ chicken wings and the Orh Jian. Papa had chicken rice, Mama had chicken curry mee whereas I had Ba Chor Mee.. Yummy yummy!
CAN I HAVE MORE OF SUCH OUTINGS?:)
next up? overseas?
